By default, WordPress (the CMS we use in this website) does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However, some of our plugins may collect personal data. The following is the detail on how your personal data may be collected and why we collect it.

Children

We do not intentionally gather Personal Information about visitors who are under the age of 13.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site (product reviews) we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to https://ai4k.eu (our main website), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We use Gravity Forms on our main website https://ai4k.eu for the store assistants forms and subscribe forms for newsletters. In those forms, you will be asked to provide your name and email address, and your consent. The personal information you disclose is stored, processed and used in accordance with this privacy policy and the privacy policy of https://ai4k.eu. We prevent the storage of IP addresses during form submission, and the forms are integrated with the WordPress tool for Export/Erase user information.

What is the purpose of the processing of personal information?

We treat your personal information (your email address) to be able to send your proposals from the store assistants, and for the newsletter.

We will also analyze the behaviour, such as whether you open the emails and which links you click on, to make sure that we’re sending relevant content to you (to tailor the experience).

Who we share your data with

We don’t share your information. WordPress by default does not share any personal data with anyone. However, our Payment Processors (Stripe and Paypal) shares your personal information, including credit card information, in their own secure payment gateways. More details below.

How long we retain your data

Operation: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). The website administrator can also see and edit that information. We keep data backups in weekly and monthly fashion, securely saved in a local computer in Oslo Norway for at least one year.

Marketing and Analytics: We retain the contact form entries for six months, analytics records for a year, and customer purchase records for three years. Personal data pertaining to invoices and payments are kept for at least 5 years for tax purposes, as required by Norwegian law.

If you have an account on this site or have filled up forms, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

The whole information of shop.ai4k.eu, such as WordPress, database and additional software for operation of the website, is managed and stored in the servers of our hosting provider (the Data Processor), in the city of Oslo, Norway, as they stated in their Privacy Policy.

How we protect your data

We follow our hosting provider security measures recommendations in the way to transfer information to their servers, by using FTP protocol with the encrypted variant (SSL/TLS enabled) on the client-side. Our passwords are the strong format with 2-Steps verification.

Security Logs

The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. This information is retained for 60 days.

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.

Smush uses the Stackpath Content Delivery Network (CDN). Stackpath may store web log information of site visitors, including IPs, UA, referrer, Location and ISP info of site visitors for 7 days. Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

SoundCloud

On our pages, plugins of the SoundCloud social network (SoundCloud Limited, Berners House, 47-48 Berners Street, London W1T 3NF, UK) may be integrated. The SoundCloud plugins can be recognized by the SoundCloud logo on our site.

When you visit our site, a direct connection between your browser and the SoundCloud server is established via the plugin.
